D P Hopkins Banjos Inc. is owned by David and Paul Hopkins.
When Paul and David Hopkins along with Mike Longworth decided to start a new company, they brought to the table a combined experience unequaled in most instrument companies today. Mike Longworth was not well when the company was formed and his wishes were that David and Paul Hopkins continue the company should he pass away.
With Mike's untimely passing while a great personal loss to David and Paul, it was Mike's desire for the continuation of the company should he pass away.
We believe when you see and play a Hopkins or LouZee banjo, that you will agree these are one of the best banjos being manufactured today.
